The Upper East Side is home to Museum Mile, one of the densest cultural meccas in the world, including nine major museums. It is also surrounded by the northeast section of Central Park, which includes The Ramble (famous with bird watchers), The Obelisk, also called Cleopatra’s Needle; and Shakespeare’s Garden.
